What goes on a Hindi shaadi card, in order

It opens with “॥ , often with a shloka. Then “शुभ विवाह”, the blessing of the elders, and the couple: चि. before the groom’s name and सौ. कां. before the bride’s.

Then the date, the venue and the programme, and the families who wait to welcome you: दर्शनाभिलाषी and स्वागतोत्सुक. Many cards end with a little verse from the children, the बाल मनुहार.

Hindi for elders, English for friends

Every invite and every card comes in Hindi and English. Your guests switch with one tap, so Nani reads हल्दी and your college friends read haldi.

The printed card, for every hand delivery

The printed invitation comes in Hindi too, with a QR code that opens your invite. Change a time once, and every card changes with it.
